Growing up, Easter dinner was as big as Christmas or Thanksgiving Dinner. Usually it would be at my grandma's house. She would fix baked pulled ham and fried turkey! Her specialty is fried turkey. It's not ,
as most people think, a whole fried turkey. Its pieces of breast meat marinated over night and then breaded and fried. It is the best thing ever!
This year we don't have to be at either of our families for Easter Sunday. For once, It's just the 5 of us. So to make it extra special for my family, I have decided to host our own Easter Dinner. The best part is setting the table and decorating!
I have a lot to do in my Dining Room. I have found the perfect thing for it, but I am waiting to see if it turns out to show you!
I LOVE my China! I love the simplicity of the white and the Gold trim. I was gifted 300 pcs of this china! My Grandmother bought this for me 10 years ago and I am just now getting to use it. I think It fits perfectly into my Decor
I went for a more simple table decorations. The wooden box, for the center piece, was handmade by my Aunt from their old chicken coop. I used these White milk bottles, I bought at Ross, as little vases.
Another view of my china. I had planned to have my greenery "wreaths" between the charger and dinner plate, but they didn't come in time to show you. I love these little napkin rings I found at Target in the Dollar Spot! They look like little bunny ears.
On a side note, I came home last week to find a bird had made her nest in my wreath. Today I found a single robin's egg. Just in time for Easter! I'm Happy a little bird thought our home was home enough to build her nest here.
Later this week, I will show you all what I made for our Church's Easter Dinner! Hint: they are big
and made of paper!!!
